Kurt Werby

Whether he’s climbing at high altitude in the Himalaya’s or swimming with Golden Ray’s in the Galapagos, travel and adventure photographer Kurt Werby has travelled the world in search of the perfect photo. Immersing himself in the culture of a country allows him to connect on a personal level with the local people which comes across in his photos.
 
Being an outdoor enthusiast, Kurt becomes part of the action and has photographed everything from rock climbing to mountain biking, backpacking, camping, mountaineering, backcountry skiing, scenery and environmental portraiture. As an active participant Kurt consistently captures the moment in all his shots.
 
Kurt’s photos regularly appear in the outdoor and travel industries, including editorial work for clients such as Rock & Ice, Backpacker and The Canadian Alpine Journal and commercial work for Metolius, Mountain Travel Sobek, Mountain Equipment Co op and others.
