Jm Borrowman

Jm Borrowman opened BC’s first whale watching company Stubbs Island Whale Watching 23 years ago in a tiny town called Telegraph Cove at the north end of Vancouver Island.

“I believe that showing people wild animals is more important than ever,” said Borrowman. “Most people rarely visit a true wilderness area. They have no idea what nature is really like. We need people to connect with nature so they will become leaders and protect the environment.”

The coastal waters near Telegraph Cove support one of the world’s richest marine ecosystems, and obviously inspire Mr. Borrowman. “This is a special place. I want to show people what more of the world could be like, if we all did it better.”
