Rich Wheater

Although his first passion will always be climbing, Rich’s curiosity and tendency towards itchy feet has led him to photograph many other subjects including skiing, backpacking, trail running, mountain biking, snow shoeing as well as many other activities related to adventure travel and outdoor recreation. He has a keen eye for funky light and landscape patterns, and is particularly fond of capturing human drama and tight action. Being an active participant affords him an intimate perspective with attention to detail.
 
Rich’s photos are regularly published in outdoor sports magazines, outdoor equipment and clothing manufacturer’s ad campaigns and catalogs throughout North America and Europe. Many of his photos are available as fine art prints. All are available for licensing as stock photos.
