A native of Montreal, Quebec, Perry Mastrovito has been a professional commercial and editorial stock photographer for more than twenty five years. His early inspiration to become a photographer came about from seeing and recording with a polaroid camera, some of the various landscapes he encountered during the family road trips he made by car from Montreal to California and then on to Florida while he was growing up.
Today, he works out of his Laval based home office/studio. Shooting in a clean and graphic style, he focuses on shooting conceptual images, industrial subjects, homes and gardens, Quebec scenics and travel destinations.
His images have appeared in Canadian Geographic, l’Actualité, Photo Life, Paris Match etc, including several tourist guides, publications and web site pages produced by Tourism Quebec. His images are also in demand for a variety of digital and printed media products and regularly seen in calendars, postcards and in coffee table books. He has just published his first photo book entitled "Images du Québec" which is a bilingual edition and features 124 nature and urban landscape images from the various regions of this beautiful province. |
